Azerbaijan Psychology and Psychotherapy Association is founded to provide theoretical and practical sessions in different fields of Psychology and Psychotherapy by international and local trainers and specialists for Psychologists and Psychotherapists living in all around of Azerbaijan. Also networking and sharing knowledge and experience with others, and integrate Young Psychologists to international area. Azerbaijan Psychology and Psychotherapy Association will provide trainings in different fields of Psychology (Child Psychology, Family and Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Educational or School Psychology, Social Work or Social Psychology, Management Psychology, Law Psychology, Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy etc.) by international trainers for students of Psychology Department of Universities and psychologists or social workers from different regions of the country. Main aim of these trainings is to improve psycho-social status of people living in a poor condition, and have more theoretical and practical specialists. Well trained specialist will help people with their own self-esteem and psychological problems and also family, parent-child relationships, mutual relationships between family members and their effects on children. It will work for their welfare.

What is the basic concept on this event?
The Azerbaijan Psychology and Psychotherapy Association (APPA), organized by the Psychotherapy Department, will hold the World Psychotherapy Congress dedicated to the 101st anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev at the Heydar Aliyev Center from 8-9-10-11 December, 2024. The event, which is aimed at improving the psychological state in our country and supporting the professional development of psychologists, psychotherapists, specialists working with children and families, and psychiatrists, will take place ahead of COP29 under the theme 'For a Green World: Child. Family. Society. Future.' Experts from various countries will present on different types of psychotherapy and share modern approaches, strategies, and methods.
